This potion bottle was made as a gift for a cast member of Critical Role, Laura Bailey. Critical Role is a live play Dungeons & Dragons show and the very thing that introduced me to D&D. Laura Bailey is famous within the TTRPG world for having a large collection of dice, so I set it upon myself to make a set for her. I decided to make a Lightning Bolt set inspired by her Campaign 3 character, Imogen Temult. Imogen uses a lot of lightning spells, the most popular one being Lightning Bolt. Her lightning magic is purple with hints of red, so I made the inserts purple instead of the normal blue and I added a few red lightning bolts into the ones that I painted on the inserts. I finished them up by inking the numbers in a light lavender with the 6 being red. I also made a potion bottle, using matching purple resin and used the label that lets you write in the DC.

I was able to meet Laura at C2E2 in Chicago on April 13, 2025 and give her the dice in person.
